Today the Calgary Chamber launched Calgary’s Resilient Business Awards and will be accepting applications until July 31, 2020. This year, the Chamber’s annual celebration of small business is pivoting to recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of our business community, the impact COVID-19 has had on our city, and how business responded with grit and determination.

There will be six award categories:
  • Resilient Business Awards for those who showed resiliency, compassion and determination during COVID-19. Three awards will be given out based on size of business: Micro-business (under 10 employees), Small and medium business (10-150 employees), Corporate enterprise (150+ employees)

  • Community Impact Award for the business who had the largest impact in the community.

  • Business Leadership Award for the leader who showed compassion, demonstrated a forward-thinking mindset and led from the heart during the COVID-19 crisis.

  • Inclusion and Diversity Award to the business that best recognizes the range of human differences and involves and values them as strengths.
